I came Japan’s northernmost ramen shop that’s called Mamiyado (間宮堂)
the name “Mamiya-do” comes from Rinzo Mamiya, the adventurer who discovered the Mamiya Straits.
it was a bit cool for August because of Cape Soya (宗谷岬) ,Japan’s northernmost point.
In such a situation, Let’s eat ramen!
This ramen shop is famous for its scallop ramen so I ordered it!
The soup had a good scallop base, and the noodles were very thin and limp and very tasty. There were two whole large scallops in the ramen.
In this cold area, this warm ramen is very comforting!
Here, you can enjoy locally produced scallop ramen and also enjoy the stunning scenery of the northernmost point of Hokkaido!
